This series of lectures began by Umm Sahl, the wife of Sheikh Nuh Keller, gathering the parents of the neighborhood of Kharabsheh in the Zawiya to address them regarding the raising of their children. The matter of concern was that the manners (adab) and character (akhlaq) of many of the children didn’t resemble Islamic adab and akhlaq. The result of this would be that the children may not grow up as righteous Muslims and the opportunity of both living in an Islamic environment and the hope of them being able to benefit others as adults would be lost.
